Value IFMA Credentials:
New Study

Training and professional development is not only an individual pursuit - a highly trained FM professional is also an asset to an organization.  Increasingly, organizations are faced with questions such as: “Should we support our employees’ training and professional development?” and “What is the value of supporting IFMA credentials?”  Professionals in FM continually seek training and development to better prepare themselves both personally and professionally.  This study reports on the value of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) Facility Management Credentials to FM organizations, as well as some current state indicators.  The results indicate that organizations find high value in IFMA credentials to their company and should instead ask: “How can we support our employees’ training and professional development?”
