Alisa D. Schneider, Esq. is Director, Counsel and Content Development on the AIA Contract Documents team. Alisa works with the Documents Committee to create and revise AIA Contract Documents and associated material. Alisa received her undergraduate degree in Construction Management from Weber State University in Ogden, Utah and her Juris Doctor from Alexander Blewett III School of Law in Missoula, Montana. Prior to joining the AIA Contract Documents team, Alisa spent over 15 years in professional construction and legal pursuits, which included the management of a private residential and small commercial construction company, practice as a construction defense litigation attorney and, finally, as In-House counsel where she negotiated, drafted, and managed construction contracts, facilities management contracts and other real estate transactions. Alisa is a member of the Montana Bar.
